Intense red colour with violet shades; intense and varied bouquet with distinctive hints of fruit, flowers and spices.
Soft pressing and de-stemming followed by maceration in stainless steel tanks with regular plunging to extract colour and tannins. Partial fermentation at 25°C in small wooden casks. Malolactic fermentation at 22°C in casks followed by batônnage. The wine is then bottle-aged for approximately 6 months.
Roast or grilled meats and game, mature cheeses, braised meat.
